Richard and Bonnie serve at Lithuania Christian
College in Klaipeda, Lithuania. The LCC places broad-based education
within the context of a Christian academic community in order
to extend education beyond the classroom. The current LCC student
community consists of almost 600 young people from 18 different
countries. Richard continues to serve with Athletes in Action,
a Christian sports ministry, and spends time working with the
Klaipeda men’s professional basketball club. After being
the department chair for several years, Bonnie is now an instructor
in the Business Administration Department of LCC. In fall 2006
she will teach “Introduction to Business” for freshmen
and “Servant Leadership” for upper class students.
She is also involved in research into issues of organizational
leadership in this area transition. Bonnie has also participated
in chapel and youth evangelism activities at LCC and been a
leader in a local Christian fellowship group (congregation)
that functions in the English language, and includes primarily
LCC expatriates and international students. Please pray for
LCC as it seeks to impact Lithuania’s future leaders and
for the rejuvenation of these countries as they move from being
part of the Soviet sphere of influence to being vibrant civil
societies.
