Learn to Earn, located in the town of Khayelitsha outside of Cape Town and Hermanus, South Africa, seeks to educate and to provide employment opportunities to those most affected by South Africa's former apartheid system. By offering job training in computer graphic design and literacy, baking, woodwork, home management, business, sewing and lifeskills, Learn to Earn hopes to offer the impoverished what their motto promises, "A Hand Up- Not a Hand Out." This holistic approach to the unemployed, which emphasizes job training and creation plus evangelism, seeks to bring economic, emotional, social and spiritual healing to the impoverished.
