Doug and Sheila Wilson work with Avant Ministries to encourage the primacy of cross-cultural church planting and to help other missionaries become more inter-culturally effective through training, teaching, research and networking. Formerly serving in Mail, the Wilsons are now assigned to the home office in the Chicago area where they will continue to train missionaries, research issues facing missionaries, and speak at conferences and seminaries. Doug will also help train Malian pastors and missionaries in Bamako, Mali as he serves as an adjunct professor.
