African Leadership oversees Bible Training Centers for African pastors and other church leaders using a ten-course basic Bible curriculum that emphasizes ministry skills. These courses are written specifically for national pastors who might otherwise lack the necessary training in Bible study, teaching and ministry. Through African Leadership, First Presbyterian Church fully supports three indigenous African pastors—Agrippa Dube (Zimbabwe), Candido Mafumo (Mozambique) and Eyasu Fereng (Ethiopia), all of whom teach and evangelize over large areas of their countries. African Leadership equips many people for local church ministry by offering opportunities to study God’s Word.
