Where do you go…

… after you find the pink slip in what’s now your final paycheck;

… after the doctors have given their diagnosis of a serious illness or said there’s nothing more they can do;

… after the relationship ends, but the wounds are still bleeding;

… after family and friends have heard your story one too many times, but you still need to talk it out?

That’s when Stephen Ministers can help.

A free and confidential service, Stephen Ministry serves people who are struggling with a special need or going through a difficult time. Each person is paired with a trained lay person who will offer Christian support and care. As one grateful person said “This is someone who’s going to walk beside you. They’re going to hold your hand the whole way. If you want to talk, you can. If you just want to sit and cry, that’s fine. If you want prayer, they’ll pray. But they’re not going to come and hit your over the head with answers.”

If you’re going through a difficult time in your life, we invite you to contact RuthAnn Ostrowski at (312) 613-0644 or ruthann.ostrowski@gmail.com to learn how you may have a Stephen Minister.
