Parish Nurse

“Say to him: ‘long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours!’”
1 Samuel 25:6

First Pres has partnered with Advocate Health Care to provide our community with a Parish Nurse. As part of Advocate's Mission and Spiritual Care, the office of Advocate Parish Nurse Ministry participates in making real the vision of wholistic healing—good health to all—by partnering with congregations of all denominations and religious affiliations in an effort to embrace the integration of faith and health.

A Parish Nurse can assist you with various health and wellness concerns, provide community resource support and give training to the congregation on important health matters.

You are welcome to contact Julie Ruchniewicz, our Parish Nurse, 847-864-1472 ext. 263.
