Adult Discipleship Learning – Fall 2018
These classes meet between our worship services and begin at 10:30 am. (Note: There are no classes October 21 due to a congregational meeting).

By the Rivers of Babylon: “Singing the Lord’s Song in a Strange Land” (Parlor, 2nd Floor) — This class is a character study of various people living during the times of exile described in the Old Testament. Facilitator: J.J. Ivaska.
Rejoicing in the Impact of Seed Money: Missions Class on the Great Commission Fund. Dining Room (2nd Floor) — This class celebrates what God has done in recent years through the Great Commission Fund of FPCE. Facilitator: Caryl Weinberg.
Intimacy with God and Others: Relationships Class (Room 213, 2nd Floor) — We will learn practical ways how to love God with all our heart, love our spouse, our children and our neighbors as ourselves. Facilitators: Judith Hylton, Lynda Irvin.
Being Christian! (Room 206, 2nd Floor) — This class will study the book “Being Christian” by Rowan Williams as well as the essay “Strange New World of the Bible” by Karl Barth. Facilitator: Rev. Henry Coates.
Single But Not Alone! “Walk in Confidence with Christ – A Study of Ephesians” (Room 102) — Welcome all Singles! We’re a diverse group that welcomes adults who are single at any stage in their lives. This class meets October 7, 14, 28, November 4, 11, and 18. Facilitator: Karen Shaw
