Our pastors are available on a limited basis for
counseling and prayer, by special appointment, members of the staff
and the Deacons, make visits to hospitals, nursing homes and shut-ins.
Some of our members come to a pastor for spiritual and emotional
help in particular times of crisis, transition or bereavement.
If intensive care is needed, the pastor may refer
the person to a trained Stephen Minister or professionals at the
Counseling Center, where more time may be spent. Premarital counseling
is part of the process for getting married in our church and is
done by the pastor officiating in the service. Baptism also requires
preparation with a pastor. Spiritual guidance is also provided through
our Spiritual Formation Ministry.
